Previous roles include: Chief Executive of the Nuclear Institute, Royal Navy Director of Education, and nuclear-specialist roles in engineering construction, training and recruitment sectors. More than twenty years service in the Royal Navy as a nuclear submariner and PWR operator, shore training reactor engineer and reactor physics specialist, and liaison with US Navy intelligence and training.
